Multani Mitti (Purity and Glow)
Multani Mitti (Purity and Glow)
Cleanses pores and brightens skin
This essential Ayurvedic ingredient, Multani Mitti (Fuller's Earth), is a mineral-rich clay revered for its profound purifying properties. It is a powerful agent for Kapha-Shamana due to its natural Ruksha (drying) and Laghu (light) qualities, which make it exceptional at absorbing Kleda (excess oil/dampness) and stagnation. It performs deep Sodhana (cleansing) by drawing out Ama (impurities) and detoxification. Regular use ensures the Tvak (skin) is left completely refreshed, pores are clarified, and the natural complexion (Varnya) is visibly improved by balancing the factors that cause greasiness and dullness.

Benefits
Deep Cleansing & Detoxification +
Multani Mitti acts as a deep-reaching Sodhana (purifier), drawing out Ama (toxins/impurities) from the skin channels (Srotas). This process aids Ama-Pachana (digestion of toxins) on the surface, promoting clear skin.
Oil & Sebum Control +
Its primary action is Kapha-Shamana. The Ruksha (drying) quality is excellent for Kleda-Haran (removal of excess dampness/oil), ensuring effective sebum control and a matte finish ideal for oily skin types.
Pore Refining & Clarity +
The clay provides mild Stambhana (binding/tightening) action, which helps to refine and contract the appearance of enlarged pores. This imparts Vishada-Karana (clarity) to the Tvak (skin).
Complexion Improvement +
By purifying the skin and controlling excess oil, it indirectly acts as a Varnya (complexion-improving) agent. Its Sheetala (cold) aspect balances Pitta, leading to a clearer, brighter appearance.
